Zombify Davis: the real Davis, as a video game
The streets, parks, shops and people of Davis, turned into a free game you play on a phone or a computer. Ride across town, hunt for history, trees and owls, and play with friends.

Zombify Davis is Davis, the real one, as a pixel art video game. Downtown is there block by block: the Pence Gallery, the Vine Inn, NorCal Trykers, Golden 1, the Natsoulas Gallery. So are Community Park, the Mondavi Center, the Farmers Market pavilion, the Arts Center, the library, UC Davis and every neighborhood from North Davis to South Davis on a bike map you can fast travel across.
It is a learning game as much as a game. There are 26 hunts across town for history, trees and owls, missions that tell the true story of a year in Davis, the people who make the town run, and a play-with-friends mode to explore it together. No download: it runs in any browser on a phone or a computer.
Explore the real Davis in it, then go and find the places for yourself.
If it is digital, we can probably make it
I built Zombify Davis with AI, and the point is not the zombies. A town, a business or a cause can become a game, an app or an interactive map now, at a cost that used to be impossible. Bring the idea to a working consult and dream a little bigger.
